Formulas Name : Wu Jiang Pills
Chinese Name : 乌姜丸
Drug Formulation
2 liang of fresh ginger (cut into pieces the size of a chess piece), 2 liang of Coptis (stems removed) (chopped into pieces the size of a soybean; stir-fry both ingredients together until they turn purplish-black), and 25 cardamom pods (insert 2 cloves into each pod, for a total of 50 cloves inside; separately, grind fresh ginger into a paste to extract its juice, mix with flour to form a dough, wrap the cardamom pods, bake until cooked, then grind the mixture with the dough).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, add a few drops of water to form pills the size of a mustard seed.
