Drug Formulation

1 liang of Guang Meng (chopped), 1 liang of Jing Sanling (chopped and soaked in wine), 5 qian of dry lacquer (washed to remove the fishy odor, stir-fried until all smoke has dissipated), 5 qian of Sichuan Aconite, 4 qian of realgar, 3 qian of green tangerine peel, 3 qian of realgar (ground separately),Fennel (salt-roasted) 3 qian, Pangolin Scale (processed) 3 qian, Mercury Oxide 1 qian (ground separately), Musk half a qian (ground separately), Croton Seeds 30 (peeled and split).

Processing

Except for the ingredients to be ground separately, stir-fry the Croton seeds, Sanleng, and Guangmiao until they turn deep yellow; discard the Croton seeds. Grind the remaining ingredients into a fine powder, mix evenly with the separately ground ingredients, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a paste made from ginger juice and flour.
