Drug Formulation

3 large wood apples from Xuanzhou (peel, cut off the tops, scoop out the seeds; place 6 liang of rock salt inside each of the 3 wood apples, steam 3–4 times over a rice steamer, then grind into a paste), 2 jin of Atractylodes lancea (soak in rice washing water for 3 days, then remove; add 1 sheng of black beans and boil with flowing river water until the liquid level is 3 cun above the surface of the herbs; boil until dry; discard the black beans; slice the Atractylodes lancea and roast until dry), 6 liang of Poria cocos.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, then mix with the mashed papayas to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach with warm wine. Swallow with salted water.
