Drug Formulation

Half liang of round white Pinellia (soaked in boiling water 7 times), half liang of genuine Sichuan Aconite (lightly roasted, peel and tip removed), half liang of white Aconite (washed, lightly roasted), half liang of round white Southern Star (washed, lightly roasted), half liang of Gastrodia, and 1 fen of whole scorpion.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from ginger juice and boiled flour to form pills the size of a sesame seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 10 pills per dose, washed down with hot water. For various types of epilepsy, grind the white pills into a powder, mix in a small amount of cinnabar, realgar, and orpiment, and take with peppermint decoction mixed with ginger juice; for common cold and cough, prepare a decoction of the powdered white pills, perilla, and black plum, and take with ginger juice; for cold malaria, grind the white pills and Jinye Dan into a powder in equal parts, and take with rice drink.
