Formulas Name : Pu Ji Dan
Chinese Name : 普济丹
Drug Formulation
3 qian of Atractylodes, 3 qian 6 fen each of Gastrodia, Ephedra, and Mingshu (water-floated), 6 qian of Rhubarb, 6 fen of Clove, 3 fen of Musk, 9 fen of Toad Venom (dissolved in alcohol), and 1 qian 4 fen of Licorice.

Processing
Grind all ingredients into a fine powder. On the Day of the Dragon Boat Festival at noon, mix with glutinous rice porridge to form pills the size of radish seeds. Coat with 3 qian 6 fen of cinnabar (water-floated), store in a porcelain container, and ensure no air escapes.

Indications: Cold invasion, heatstroke, common cold, stomach pain, abdominal pain, toothache, bloating, malaria, sudden convulsions, boils and abscesses, carbuncles, trauma-induced qi stagnation, and difficulty adapting to a new environment.
Instructions for Use
Take 3–7 pills per dose.
Note
Contraindicated for children with chronic convulsions and pregnant women.
