Drug Formulation
100g of petroleum jelly, 80g of rosin, and an appropriate amount of alum.

Processing
Melt the petroleum jelly in a pot, then add the rosin. Once the rosin has melted, filter the mixture through three layers of gauze while still hot. When the solution has cooled to 36°C, add finely ground alum (sifted through a 120-mesh sieve), stirring continuously as you add it to prevent clumping. After stirring until completely homogeneous, divide into portions and set aside for use.
