Processing
Method of Yin Refining:3–5 shi of urine; even if it has spoiled during the summer months, it is still usable. Mix it with an equal amount of fresh water, stir vigorously for 100 revolutions, then let it settle. Discard the clear liquid and retain only the turbid sediment. Stir again with fresh water, then decant the clear liquid once more. Continue this process until no odor remains, then grind the mixture. Mix with the milk of a nursing infant until it forms a paste, and dry it under the scorching sun. Repeat this process nine times, then form into pills the size of a paulownia seed and dry them in the sun.

Instructions for Use
Take 30 pills per dose, washed down with warm wine, once a day. Method for Yang Refining: Urinate as much as desired.For every bucket of urine (approximately two buckets make one dan), mix a concentrated soapberry juice with clean water, strain out the residue, and add one zhan of the juice to the urine. Stir vigorously with a bamboo whisk for over a hundred strokes, then let it settle. Collect one bucket of the sediment, repeat the stirring process as before, and collect the sediment again. After processing about ten dan, you will obtain no more than one or two dou of concentrated sediment.strain out the residue, place it in a clean pot, and boil until dry; scrape it off and crush it; return it to the pot and boil it in clear broth until dissolved; then strain it through two layers of rice paper in a sieve, collect the clear liquid that drains through, and return it to the pot to boil until dry. Repeat this process multiple times until the mixture is boiled dry and turns white as frost or snow;Then place it in a sealed sand pot and calcine over a low flame until it becomes a liquid; stop when it turns a lustrous, jade-white color; grind it finely, place it in a sealed sand pot, and keep it over a low flame for seven days and nights; then grind it again; take 2 qian per dose on an empty stomach with warm water. Alternatively, make pills with wine and date pulp, each the size of a paulownia seed; take 30 pills per dose on an empty stomach once daily.
