Drug Formulation

2 liang of Codonopsis, 1 liang 5 qian of Atractylodes (roasted), 1 liang of Amomum (small grains, ground), 1 liang of Wood Fragrance (ground), 2 liang of Poria (ground), 1 liang 2 qian of Tangerine Peel, 1 liang 5 qian of Biota Seed (roasted), 4 liang of Sanxian (roasted until yellow), 1 liang of Chinese Yam,1 liang of Zijiangpu, 1 liang 2 qian of small Zhi Shi (roasted, ground), 5 qian of roasted licorice.

Processing

Simmer the above herbs in water until thoroughly infused, strain out the residue, then simmer further until concentrated. Add refined honey to form a paste, and store in a porcelain jar.
