Drug Formulation

3 liang of agarwood, 3 liang of cloves, 3 liang of frankincense, 3 liang of Sichuan pepper (roasted), 3 liang of black cardamom, 3 liang of tangerine peel, 3 liang of fenugreek (roasted), 3 liang of Polygonum multiflorum (roasted), 3 liang of Chinese cornelian cherry, 3 liang of cinnamon, 3 liang of Morinda officinalis (seed removed),3 liang of fennel (roasted), 3 liang of Achyranthes root, 3 liang of Cistanche, 3 liang of Aconite root (processed, with skin and navel removed), 4 liang of areca nut, and 4 liang of nutmeg.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take one fresh pig’s stomach, remove the fat, and place the powdered medicine in a raw silk bag, which is then sewn inside the stomach. Boil the stomach in a silver-lined pot with one bucket of sour whey until it becomes tender. Remove and let cool. Discard the stomach; dry the medicine in an oven, then mix it with a paste of wine and flour to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

Take 50 pills per dose, washed down with warm wine; for women, take them with vinegar broth, alternating with the Qi-Strengthening Pills.
