Drug Formulation

Ginseng (root without the base) 4 liang, Chinese yam (steamed until tender, peeled) 1 jin, Euryale seed (soaked in water for 3 days, shell and skin removed, steamed until tender) 1 jin, lotus seed (soaked in water, inner membrane and seed coat removed) 1 jin, red dates (steamed until tender, peeled and pitted) 1 jin, almonds (soaked in water, skin and tip removed, steamed until tender) 1 jin,walnut meat (soaked in water, shell and skin removed) 1 jin, genuine agarwood 3 qian (ground separately into a powder), honey 6 jin (divided into 3 portions in a tin basin; add boiling water to the basin to refine the honey until it reaches the consistency of hard white sugar; only 3 jin will remain pure), genuine clarified butter 1 jin (steamed with the honey until melted).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into an extremely fine powder, mix thoroughly with the clarified butter and honey until it forms a paste, and transfer to a new porcelain jar. Fill the jar to a capacity of 1 jin, seal tightly with paper, and ensure it is airtight.

Instructions for Use

Take several spoonfuls mixed with boiling water every morning, and take another dose before bedtime.

Note

Avoid iron utensils.
