Formulas Name : Anti-Mallow Decoction

Chinese Name : 防葵饮

Drug Formulation

Half liang of Fang Kui, half liang of softshell turtle shell (roasted with vinegar, with the frills removed), half liang of pine lichen, half liang of licorice (raw), and 3 fen of Changshan.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder.

Benefits

For phlegm-induced malaria with alternating chills and fever, and epidemic fever.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose; boil with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 8 fen; strain; take slowly while warm before the onset of symptoms. Continue until vomiting occurs.
