Drug Formulation

Half a liang of dried scorpion (lightly roasted), 1 liang of ephedra (roots and nodes removed), 1 fen of Rhododendron flower, 1 fen of Euphorbia flower (roasted with vinegar until dry), and 1 fen of cinnabar (finely ground).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with water and fermented soybean paste to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 7 pills per dose; for Yang Toxin, take with ginger and fermented soybean decoction; for Yin Toxin, take with hot water. Do not cover the body; sweating should occur naturally.
