Drug Formulation

Half a liang of rhino horn shavings, 3 fen of Belamcanda, half a liang of Coptis, half a liang of Scutellaria, half a liang of Curcuma, half a liang of Sichuan rhubarb (coarsely chopped and lightly roasted), 1 liang of Asparagus root (core removed and dried), half a liang of Scrophularia, half a liang of Sichuan Cimicifuga, 3 fen of Dendrobium leaf, half a liang of licorice (lightly roasted until reddish and coarsely chopped), and 1 liang of horse-tooth stone.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix in the horse-tooth stone until evenly blended, and shape into pills the size of small marbles using refined honey.
