Baiwei Decoction,For blood-induced syncope with sudden collapse: the patient feels no discomfort beforehand but suddenly appears as if dead, with the body motionless, unresponsive and unaware of others, eyes closed and unable to open, mouth clenched and unable to speak; or the patient may seem conscious but averse to hearing human voices; or may simply appear dizzy and disoriented, regaining consciousness after some time; or for postpartum weakness of the stomach with inability to eat, accompanied by a faint pulse and profuse sweating.

1 liang of Baiwei, 1 liang of Danggui, half a liang of Ren Shen, and 1 fen of licorice (roasted).

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose; boil with 2 zhan of water until reduced to 1 zhan; strain and take while warm.
