Benefits
In cases of Shanghan where Yin prevails and repels Yang, presenting with coldness of the body, cold extremities, a deep and fine pulse, restlessness, and a cold body.
Instructions for Use
Place it over a high flame until charred, leaving only 2–3 fen of the core intact; remove it, place it in a porcelain container with a lid, let it cool, and grind it into a fine powder. Add 1 daqian of ground wax tea and grind them together until uniformly fine. For each dose, take half a qian of the mixture, add 1 xiao zan of water and a small amount of honey, decoct until reduced to half a xiao zan, strain, and drink while warm. Shortly after taking it, restlessness ceases and sleep is restored; sweating occurs, and the condition resolves.
