Chinese Name : 兔脑丸

Drug Formulation

1 rabbit brain marrow from the 12th lunar month, 1 pair of mouse kidneys, 1 qian of female cloves, 1 qian of motherwort, 1 fen of frankincense, 1 fen of musk.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with rabbit marrow or rabbit blood to form pills the size of a water caltrop; coat with cinnabar, seal in oiled paper, and air-dry in the shade.

Benefits

For prolonged labor with amniotic fluid remaining.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose; after the amniotic fluid breaks, swallow it with vinegar broth or a decoction of red adzuki beans. Labor will commence immediately.
