Chinese Name : 乌子肝丸
Drug Formulation
1 set of black sheep liver (slice with a bamboo knife, arrange in a porcelain basin, and coat the liver with sheep bile from the outside; sun-dry, then coat again; repeat this process of coating and sun-drying—ideally applying 200–300 applications of bile, though even a minimum of 100 is required; dry thoroughly in the sun), 4 liang of Angelica sinensis, 10 liang of raw Rehmannia glutinosa (6 liang steamed, 4 liang washed with wine), 4 liang of white peony root (wine-fried),4 liang of Chuanxiong, 4 liang of He Shou Wu (steamed 9 times), 4 liang of Penzi (roasted), 4 liang of Huanliancao (steamed with wine), 4 liang of Shanyu (steamed with wine), 4 liang of Bai Fuling, and 4 liang of ash from the hair of a young man.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Then, take 12 liang of well-cooked Rehmannia glutinosa, boil it in wine until thoroughly softened, mash it into the previous mixture, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
Instructions for Use
Take 100 pills per dose, washed down with plain water in the morning and evening.
Note
None of the ingredients should come into contact with iron utensils.
