Chinese Name : 续骨丹
Drug Formulation
Half a liang of Tianma (large, clean specimens, soaked in wine overnight), half a liang of white Aconite root (roasted), half a liang of Achyranthes root (washed, chopped, dried, soaked in wine overnight, then dried again), half a liang of Trichosanthes seed (shell removed, ground), 1 fen of Aconite root (roasted, skin and pith removed),half liang of Sichuan Qianghuo (washed to remove soil), 1 fen of Earthworm (cleaned of soil), 2 qian of Frankincense (ground in a mortar placed over a basin of water), 2 qian of genuine Myrrh (ground), and 1 qian of Cinnabar (water-floated).

Processing
Take the above ingredients and mix with 1 liang of raw Pinellia tuber powder, then boil with ash-free wine to form a paste. Shape into pills the size of a chicken’s head and coat with cinnabar.

Instructions for Use
Take 1 pill per dose, ground with peppermint tea before meals.
