Chinese Name : 大效洗轮散
Drug Formulation
Equal parts of Epimedium leaf (stems removed), Qinpi, Coptis, and Sophora flower; a small amount of raw rhinoceros horn (chopped).

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Take half a qian per dose, mix with fresh water, strain, and rinse the eyes with it. If sand, iron, or similar particles enter the eyes, apply this solution two or three times, and they will naturally be flushed out into the water.

For wind-toxin invasion causing redness and pain in the eyes; or for grit, iron filings, or porcelain dust entering the eyes, causing dryness and pain.
Instructions for Use
For wind-toxin eye conditions, use half a qian per treatment with one zhan of water; decoct until reduced to seven-tenths of the original volume, then use the warm liquid to wash the eyes. This treatment may be repeated up to three times per session.
