Drug Formulation

1 liang of Coptis, 5 qian of Angelica dahurica, 3 qian of mercury oxide, 2 qian of camphor, and 3 qian of Sichuan pepper.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with cooked rapeseed oil until thick, then spread the mixture over the bottom of a large bowl. Place a tile stand of appropriate height over the bowl. Take 4 liang of mugwort, roll it into 10 balls, and burn them to fumigate the medicinal mixture at the bottom of the bowl. If the oil dries out, add more oil, mix, and fumigate again; continue until all the mugwort is consumed.

Instructions for Use

Apply the mixture to the affected area while still hot, wrap it with oil paper and straw paper, and the swelling will subside the next day; it will be completely healed within three nights.
