Formulas Name : Cedar Knot Decoction
Chinese Name : 杉木节汤
Drug Formulation
1 liang of cypress wood knots (chopped), 3 fen of fennel seeds (lightly roasted), 3 qian of Ephedra, 1 liang of red Poria, half a liang of Wood Fragrance, 2 liang of areca nut, 2 fen of Akebia (chopped), 1 liang of Perilla stems and leaves, and 3 fen of Poria (black skin removed).

Grind the above ingredients into a powder.

Instructions for Use
Take 4 qian per dose. Add 1.5 zhan of water, 2 slices of fresh ginger, and 2–7 stems of scallion whites. Decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm before meals, regardless of the time of day.
