Drug Formulation
Chaihu (stem removed) 1 liang and a half, Hu Huanglian 1 liang and a half, Longdan 1 liang and a half,Peach Gum (dried) 1.5 liang, Cimicifuga Rhizome 1.5 liang, Poria Sclerotium (without woody core) 1.5 liang, Scutellaria Root (without black core) 1.5 liang, Lycium Bark 1.5 liang, Raw Rehmannia Root (roasted) 1.5 liang, Peony Root 1.5 liang, Rhubarb (chopped, roasted) 1.5 liang, Anemarrhena Rhizome (chopped, roasted) 1.5 liang,Ophiopogon tuber (with core removed, lightly roasted) 1.5 liang, Licorice (roasted, coarsely chopped) 1.5 liang, Dragon’s Teeth 1.5 liang, Rhinoceros Horn (chipped) 1.5 liang, Scrophularia root 1.5 liang, Gardenia fruit (peeled) 1.5 liang, Platycodon root (stir-fried) 1.5 liang, Cinnabar 2 liang (ground separately and added to the formula).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.
