Chinese Name : 长德散

Drug Formulation

Hemp leaves (air-dried, stored in porcelain, and buried in a fire of roasted wheat bran) 2 qian; dragon’s blood 2 qian; tiger bone 2 qian; black rhinoceros horn 2 qian.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian and 2 fen per dose, washed down with good wine. A slight buzz is ideal. Take only from 1 to 7 days postpartum.

Note

When taking this medicine, there is no need to sit in a birthing chair after delivery; one should lie flat instead.
