Drug Formulation

1 liang of Coptis (stems removed), 1 liang of Cnidium monnieri, 1 liang of frankincense, half a liang of apricot kernels, a handful of turnip root, 1 fen of salt, half a liang of human feces ash, and 1 liang of wood ear mushrooms from willow trees.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with clarified butter, and shape into cakes 5 qian thick.

Instructions for Use

Apply to the affected area and wrap tightly with coarse cloth; change the dressing 3–4 times daily, including at night;Each time the dressing is changed, first wash the area with licorice decoction. If a pus head has not yet formed, apply the medicine to induce its formation; if pus is already oozing from the ulcer, apply the medicine as well, and new tissue will form immediately; if all pus has been drained, apply the black ointment; if there is granulation tissue, finely grind the white wood ear mushrooms from the willow tree, lightly sprinkle them over the ointment, and apply it.
