Drug Formulation

10 liang of Pai Zi, 4 liang of genuine cinnabar, 2 qian of frankincense, 2 qian of myrrh, 2 qian of dragon’s blood, 2 qian of bear bile, 2 qian of sea squirt, 2 qian of Coptis powder, 2 qian of mercury oxide, 2 qian of Angelica sinensis, 2 qian of borax, 1 qian of white cloves, 3 qian of rock salt, half a liang of verdigris, 1 qian of realgar, and 1 qian of musk.

Processing

All ingredients are prepared according to standard methods, ground into extremely fine powders, and mixed evenly. Next, refine half a jin of white honey, strain it, and heat it until it does not disperse even when a drop of water is added. Then add the Dan and boil until it turns purple; add the gold-based medicines and mix into a paste, then form into tablets.
