Drug Formulation
2 fen of the southeast root of the pepper tree, 2 fen of the northwest root of the pepper tree, 2 fen of Gaobin, 2 fen of Hanfangji, 3 fen of Huanglian, 3 fen of Fangfeng, 3 fen of Ma Huang (with roots and nodes removed), 3 fen of Chaihu, 3 fen of Shengma, 3 fen of Sheng Dihuang, 4 fen of raw Licorice, 6 fen of Danggui root, 7 fen of Qianghuo, and 6 Ruiren seeds.

Instructions for Use
Use one large bowl of clean water. First, decoct Hanfangji, Coptis, raw licorice, Angelica sinensis, and raw Rehmannia until the volume is reduced by half. Add the remaining herbs and decoct further until the volume is reduced to one cup. Strain out the residue, transfer the liquid to a silver or stone vessel, and simmer until the desired therapeutic effect is achieved.
