Drug Formulation
Astragalus (chopped) 4 liang, Angelica sinensis (sliced, roasted) 3 liang, Ginseng 3 liang, Poria cocos (black skin removed) 3 liang, Dragon’s Teeth 3 liang, Polygala tenuifolia (core removed) 3 liang, Licorice (roasted) 3 liang, Cinnamon (coarse bark removed) 5 liang, Pinellia (soaked in boiling water, rinsed 7 times, roasted) 5 liang,Zhishi (pulp removed, stir-fried with wheat bran) 2 liang, Jiegeng (root tip removed, coarsely chopped, stir-fried) 2 liang, Fushen (wooden core removed) 2 liang.

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use
For each dose, first use 2 zhan of water to boil half a he of glutinous rice. Once the rice is cooked, remove it. Immediately add 5 qian of the herbal mixture, 5 slices of fresh ginger, and 2 jujubes (split open). Simmer together until it boils several times, then strain out the residue. Take 1 zhan of the decoction and drink it warm at any time.
