Drug Formulation
Half a jin of Achyranthes root (stems removed), half a jin of Pittosporum bark (both ground into powder; simmer with 5 sheng of fine wine in a silver vessel until reduced to a paste), 1 liang of fennel seeds (roasted), 1 liang of Angelica sinensis (sliced and dried), 1 liang of red arrowroot, 1 liang of Acanthopanax bark (chopped), 1 liang of red peony root,Cinnamon Bark (with coarse bark removed)—1 liang; Ephedra (with roots and nodes removed)—1 liang; Earthworm (roasted)—1 liang; Wood Fragrance—1 liang; Angelica Pubescens (with root tip removed)—1 liang; Myrrh (ground)—1 liang; Frankincense (ground)—1 liang; Fangfeng (with branches removed)—1 liang; Dipsacus (ground)—1 liang; Dragon’s Blood—1 liang; Agarwood (chopped)—1 liang,dried scorpion (roasted, with soil removed) 1 liang, Tiannanxing (raw) 1 liang, Aconite (roasted until cracked, with skin and navel removed) 2 liang, Aconite (roasted until cracked, with skin and navel removed) 2 liang, Melia fruit 2 liang, Ligusticum root 2 liang, Musk (ground) half a liang, Tiger’s Brain Bone 4 liang (roasted with butter).

Take the 26 ingredients listed above; grind 24 of them into a fine powder, mix it into the aforementioned paste, and knead into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
