Drug Formulation
Perilla leaves (with tender stems) 1 liang 2 qian, Areca nut peel 3 qian, Sichuan akebia 4 qian, Poria peel 2 qian, Ginger peel 2 qian, Dried tangerine peel 2 qian, Mulberry bark 2 qian, Platycodon root 2 qian, Lycium bark 2 qian, Acanthopanax bark 2 qian, Poria 2 qian, Ophiopogon tuber 2 qian, Licorice root 2 qian, Schisandra berries 2 qian, Cardamom 2 qian.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a powder and divide into 6 doses.
Benefits
Characterized by a pale, puffy face and swelling of the limbs; in severe cases, the swelling extends to the abdomen and flanks, causing chest fullness, shortness of breath, a mild cough, diarrhea, and an inability to lie down comfortably.
Instructions for Use
Take 7–8 qian per dose, add 2 zhong of water and 3 slices of ginger, and simmer until reduced to 8 fen. Take the entire mixture, including the residue, before meals and at bedtime, four times a day. Once the swelling subsides and the medicine is finished, you will be fully recovered after six doses.
Note
One should consume only plain rice porridge for 10 days, half a month, or 20 days. Strictly avoid raw and cold foods, greasy foods, alcohol and vinegar, salted chicken, duck, wheat-based foods, hard rice, and vegetables.
