Drug Formulation
3 liang of Guizhi (peeled), 2 liang of Licorice (roasted), 3 liang of Ginger (sliced), 12 Jujubes (split), 1 Aconite Root (roasted, peeled, and cut into 8 slices).

For Taiyang syndrome, following purgation, presenting with a rapid pulse, chest fullness, and slight aversion to cold.
Instructions for Use
Boil with 7 sheng of water until reduced to 3 sheng; strain out the residue and take 1 sheng while warm. The original text states: “Gui Zhi Decoction”; here, peony root is omitted and aconite root is added. Follow the rest and recuperation guidelines as described previously.
