Drug Formulation

4 fen of ox bile (must be Western ox bile), 5 fen of amber, 1 qian 5 fen of dragon’s blood, 1 qian 5 fen of processed rhubarb, 1 qian 5 fen of realgar, 1 qian 5 fen of cinnabar (must be selected from large, mirror-like pieces free of sand or stone),Bai Xian Pi 1 qian 5 fen, Sichuan Tortoise Shell 1 qian 5 fen, Frankincense 1 qian 5 fen, Wood Fragrance (using only the finest powder from each) 1 qian 5 fen, Cicada Shedding Powder 2 qian, Raw Milk 1 qian, Myrrh 1 qian 7 fen, Sichuan Fritillary Bulb 3 qian.

Processing

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder. Use 5 qian of Shenqu powder to make a thick paste, then form it into pills the size of a Paulownia seed. Separately, grind cinnabar into a fine powder to use as a coating.

Instructions for Use

Take 15 pills every morning on an empty stomach, and 10 pills in the morning and evening on an empty stomach, washed down with sugar water.

Note

Avoid physical exertion, mental distress, anger, and restlessness, as well as tea and alcohol.
