Processing
Process the herbal materials until clean and prepare them according to standard procedures. Take Cuscuta seeds, prepared Rehmannia root, Achyranthes root, Goji berries, Asparagus root, Ophiopogon tuber, Cistanche, Schisandra berries, Fructus Aurantii, licorice, and bitter almonds, and decoct them twice for 2.5 hours and 1.5 hours, respectively.Add the bitter almonds to the pot only after the mixture has come to a boil. Combine the resulting decoctions, filter out the sediment, and concentrate under reduced pressure to a thick paste with a specific gravity of 1.35 at a temperature of 50°C.Grind the remaining herbs into a fine powder, sift through a 100-mesh sieve, and mix thoroughly to obtain the raw powder. Form pills by mixing the raw powder with the thick paste in the specified ratio, then dry at a low temperature. For every jin of dried pills, use 1 liang 2 qian of raw hematite powder as a coating to enhance luster. Each pill weighs 5 qian dry weight, and each bag contains 30 pills.
