Drug Formulation
Dragon Bone 2 liang (soak in wine for 3 days, then soak in vinegar for 3 days; burn over a fire 7 times, quenching each time with the original wine and vinegar solutions 7 times), one pair of donkey kidneys (both inner and outer) (simmer in wine for 3 incense sticks’ worth of time; grind the dragon bone into a powder, mix it into the donkey kidneys, and simmer for another 3 incense sticks’ worth of time), Ginseng 3 liang, Angelica sinensis 3 liang,3 liang of White Peony Root, 2 liang of Psoralea,Cuscuta seed 2 liang, Eucommia bark 3 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala 5 liang, deer antler 1 piece (soaked thoroughly in wine, sliced, then cut into small pieces), 1 liang of Schisandra berries (roasted with Chinese yam powder), prepared Rehmannia root 3 liang, Cornus officinalis 3 liang, Astragalus root 5 liang, Aconite root 1 liang, Poria 2 liang, Biota seed 1 liang, Amomum fruit 5 qian, earthworms 10.

Processing
Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder. Pound them together with donkey kidney juice; if the juice dries out, add honey and continue pounding to form pills.
