Drug Formulation

1 liang of purified Coptis, 2 qian of borax, 2 qian of cold-water stone, 2 qian of rhubarb, 1 qian of sea cuttlefish, 1 qian of copper blue, 2.5 qian of barium sulfate, 1 zi of musk, and 7 whole scorpions (with venomous tips removed).

Processing

Except for Xuanming Powder and Musk, coarsely grind the remaining 7 ingredients and sun-dry them to form a powder. Then place the Xuanming Powder and Musk in a mortar, and mix them thoroughly with the powdered ingredients using a pestle.

Instructions for Use

Use 1 character to half a qian each time, dissolve in warm, clean water or cool water, strain to remove sediment, and wash frequently, regardless of the time of day.

Note
