Drug Formulation

Half a jin of deer antler (finely chopped; simmered with 2 liang of pure butter and 1 sheng of ash-free wine until dry; then stir-fried over low heat until dry), half a jin of cocklebur (soaked in wine overnight, then stir-fried until dry), half a jin of elk antler (finely chopped; simmered with 2 liang of pure butter and 1 sheng of rice vinegar until dry; then stir-fried over low heat until dry), 5 liang of angelica root (finely sliced, soaked in wine overnight, then oven-dried),4 liang of Chinese yam, 4 liang of white Poria (peeled), 4 liang of Astragalus (honey-fried), 2 liang of ginseng (root tip removed), 2 liang of agarwood, 2 liang of Shayuanyili (sorted to remove soil, thoroughly washed, and oven-dried), 2 liang of Polygala (core removed),Cistanche (soaked in wine overnight, sliced, and dried in an oven) 2 liang, Aconite (roasted, with skin and navel removed) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Boil 3 sheng of wine and 3 he of glutinous rice until soft, then mix and pound into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 50 to 100 pills per dose on an empty stomach, with warm wine or salted water as a vehicle.
