4 liang of ox marrow (refined, coarse parts removed), 4 liang of walnuts (shells and skins removed), 4 liang of apricot kernels (skins and tips removed), and half a jin of Chinese yam.

Processing

Pound the three ingredients—apricot kernels, walnuts, and Chinese yam—into a paste. Add one jin of honey (refined to remove white foam) and mix thoroughly with the beef marrow. Place the mixture in a porcelain jar and simmer in hot water for one day.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 spoonful on an empty stomach.
