Drug Formulation
Magnetite (live; calcined over fire and quenched in vinegar 7 times) 2 liang, sulfur 2 liang, realgar 2 liang, orpiment 2 liang (grind all together into coarse powder; place in a jar and heat for 3 sticks of incense; once cooled and set, remove and grind into a fine powder; then mix with the following ingredients), stalactite powder 2 liang, aconite root 2 liang, Sichuan pepper (stir-fried until sweating) 2 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with vinegar paste to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 20 pills per dose on an empty stomach with rice water, twice daily. If, after half a month, you feel heat attacking your eyes, do not be alarmed; this is the kidney qi surging to the eyes, signaling the revival of their light. When the heat occurs, rub your hands together until warm and gently massage the eyes once; this will restore clarity once. After 60 days, your vision will be clear; once the medicine is finished, take another batch.
