Chinese Name : 清火永真膏

Drug Formulation

4 jin of raw Rehmannia root (pounded to extract juice), 6 liang of Asparagus root, 6 liang of Tussilago flower buds.

Cough due to yin deficiency; hemoptysis caused by fire.

Instructions for Use

Simmer Tianshendong and Kuandonghua in water; strain, mash the residue, and simmer again. Then add the Rehmannia juice and simmer until thickened. Add 1 jin of white honey and simmer further. Separately, boil 1 liang of Schisandra berries to yield half a zhong of juice, mix it into the ointment, and simmer until it reaches the desired consistency. Take 1–2 times daily.
