6 qian of calcedony (processed), 5 qian of cinnabar, 5 qian of talc (sifted), 5 qian of Coptis chinensis, 4 qian of cinnabar, 3 qian of indigo powder, and 1 liang of oyster shell (calcined).

Instructions for Use

Take 5 fen per dose. Use one rooster liver (one that does not sink in water), split it open with a bamboo knife, fill it with the powdered medicine, boil until cooked, and consume. For mild cases, 1–2 doses; for severe cases, 3–4 doses should be sufficient for recovery.
