Formulas Name : Fire Toxin Pill

Chinese Name : 火疰丹

Drug Formulation

1 liang of aniseed, 1 liang of frankincense, 1 fen of realgar, 1 fen of sulfur, 1 fen of dried scorpion, 1 fen of white alum, and half a liang of aconite root (roasted, with the navel removed).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder; mix with a paste made from flour boiled in wine to form pills the size of a chicken’s head.

Benefits

For deficiency-cold of the spleen, pain caused by small intestine qi rising, as well as abdominal masses and cold-induced abdominal pain.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 pills per dose; chew one pill slightly to break it open, mix with 2 qian of burnt cotton ash, and swallow with wine.
