Drug Formulation

1 betel nut (chopped), 1 liang of black plum (half pitted, half with pits), half a liang of Beijing-style Sanleng (roasted), 1 liang of green tangerine peel (white pith removed, baked), half a liang of cardamom (husk removed), 2 qian of croton seed (husk and core removed, ground separately), and half a liang of black pepper.

Processing

Pound the six ingredients into a fine powder, mix in the ground croton seed until uniform, and form into pills the size of mung beans using a wheat flour paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 pills per dose, washed down with warm ginger tea after a meal.
