Drug Formulation
1 sheng of lime, 1 sheng of reed ash, 1 sheng of mulberry ash, 1 sheng of charcoal ash, and 1 sheng of mushroom ash.

Processing
Soak it in water, steam it until the steam permeates it thoroughly, then take the broth from the pot and strain off about 5 sheng of clear liquid; simmer it in a copper vessel. When the ointment is ready—it should be firm and solid like fine granulated sugar—it is ready for use.
