Drug Formulation
2.5 qian of the parietal bone, 1 liang of Bupleurum, 0.5 liang of rhino horn shavings, 3 cun of licorice (the length of the patient’s middle finger; left for men, right for women), 1 handful of peach branches from the east, 1 handful of Artemisia annua, 1 handful of willow branches from the east, 1 handful of pomegranate peel, 7 cun of donkey-hide gelatin, 7 cun of white leek, 7 cun of white scallion, and 2.5 qian of musk.

Instructions for Use
Grind the ingredients into a powder. Soak the mixture in 2.5 sheng of a child’s urine overnight. The next morning and evening, decoct until reduced to 1.5 sheng, strain out the residue, and divide into three doses. Add 3 fen of areca nut powder to each dose and take while warm. After the first dose, walk approximately 3–5 li; then take the second dose.If nausea occurs, alleviate it by sucking on a white plum. After 3–5 doses, once the illness subsides, foreign matter will be expelled through diarrhea—such as worms resembling human hair or a horse’s tail, with red bodies and black mouths, and an indescribable sensation on the body as if ants were crawling. After the diarrhea, replenish with scallion congee; simultaneously, take the decoction of the Five-Organ-Nourishing Fu Shen Powder.
Note
Avoid exposure to wind for one month. Avoid greasy foods, damp noodles, salty foods, as well as beef, pork, chicken, duck, and dog meat.
