Drug Formulation

1 jin of Phellodendron bark (peel removed, sliced, and divided into 5 portions: 1 portion soaked in fine wine; 1 portion soaked in vinegar; 1 portion soaked in children’s urine; 1 portion soaked in rice washing water; 1 portion soaked in honey water).

Processing

Soak each portion overnight, then remove and sun-dry. Roast until brown, then place on the ground to remove the heat toxicity. Grind into a fine powder. Boil 2 bowls of old rice, cover the surface of the rice with lotus leaves, and cook until done. Then cover the surface again with lotus leaves and steam; afterward, wrap the rice in lotus leaves and simmer for 1 ke. Remove the lotus leaves, mash the rice into a paste, mix with the medicine to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed, and bake until dry.

Instructions for Use

Take 100 pills per dose, washed down with salted water in the morning.
