Drug Formulation

3 qian of croton seed powder, 3 qian of Guangxi frankincense, 3 qian of Lai orange peel, 1 liang of wulingzhi, 1 liang of Guangxi curcuma (crushed raw), 1 liang of real realgar, 1 liang of processed jinwen, 5 qian of fly cinnabar, 2 qian of pure frankincense, 2 qian of pure myrrh, 2 qian of mountain calla, and 2 qian of hundred-herb ash.

Processing

Grind each of the above herbs into a fine powder, weigh out the required amounts, and mix them together for about an hour. Form into pills using rice vinegar, coat with gold leaf, and make them the size of mung beans. Dry them in the sun with a sheet of paper between the pills, store tightly in a porcelain container, and keep in a dry place.

Instructions for Use

For those aged 20 and above, take 12 pills per dose; for those with robust constitutions, add 3 pills; reduce the dose accordingly for the elderly and children. For children aged 2–3, take 7 or 5 pills; for those aged 70–80, take 9 pills, taken with warm water. Within half a day or 1–2 hours, the patient will either vomit or have a diarrhea. For pregnant women with acute conditions, limit the dose to 7 pills.
