Drug Formulation

Half a liang of oyster shell powder, 2 qian and a half of bitter shepherd’s purse, 2 qian and a half of soapwort, 1 qian and a half of croton seed (with oil removed), 1 qian and a half of trichosanthes root, 1 qian and a half of bitter clove, 1 qian and a half of red lady’s mantle, and a small amount of musk.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 qian of the mixture each time; pound it with scallion juice to form pills. Wrap them in thin cotton and insert them into the vagina using a 5-cun bamboo tube. When a sensation of heat is felt, yellow fluid will first be discharged, followed by the onset of menstruation.
