Processing

Steam in a steamer for two hours, then remove. Pound in a stone mortar until no distinct shape or color remains; shape into thick cakes, sun-dry, and store. Prepare on an auspicious day in winter while burning incense.

Instructions for Use

Give one cake to anyone suffering from hunger; they may chew it with tea as desired. It will fill the stomach with energy and provide a sense of fullness. One cake can sustain a person for five days; there is no limit on the number of times it may be taken.
