Drug Formulation
1.5 liang of raw Rehmannia root, 3 liang of prepared Rehmannia root (soaked together in wine and pounded into a paste), 2 liang of Angelica sinensis, 1.5 liang of Paeonia lactiflora (stir-fried with wine), 1 liang of Anemarrhena asphodeloides, 2 liang of Phellodendron amurense (soaked in wine and stir-fried), 1 liang of Platycladus orientalis leaves, 1 liang of Sophora japonica seeds (stir-fried with Platycladus orientalis leaves), and 6 qian of Forsythia suspensa.

Processing
Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed, place them in a porcelain dish, seal the opening with cotton paper, and store in a cool, shaded place for 7–8 days to remove the heat toxicity; then sun-dry and store.
