3 sheng of mulberry wood ash.

Processing

Pour 4 sheng of water over it, then pour it over again; repeat this process until 3 sheng of lime remains. Roast the lime until it turns yellow, then add it to the lime juice. Wrap the mixture in two layers of silk cloth and wring out the residue. Simmer the liquid until it reduces to 2 sheng, using a gentle heat—do not use high heat.

Instructions for Use

Depending on the depth of the fistula opening, initially treat with the oral powder until cured. If the opening is 4 cun deep, moisten the new medicine with white leek stalks to saturate them, secure the medicine and leek stalks together, and insert them into the fistula opening.If the fistula is 4 cun deep, perform moxibustion at two points along the root of the fistula, applying 40 moxa cones to each point; take care not to apply moxibustion directly to the fistula opening. Drain the pus according to the depth of the fistula. Apply the powder and ointment to the fistula opening 15 times; with a little patience over a period of days or months, the condition will be cured, the tissue will regenerate, and the discharge will cease.
