Chinese Name : 秘传牛黄丸
Drug Formulation
2 qian of ox bile, 1 liang of antelope horn, 1 liang of calcined dragon bone, 1 liang of Poria cocos (processed), 1 liang of Pinellia ternata, 5 qian of Acorus tatarinowii, 5 qian of cinnabar, 5 qian of realgar, 5 qian of pearl, and 5 qian of jujube seed.

Processing
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder for future use. Take 6 pieces of Southern Star (Pinellia), cut off the stems, and hollow them out; fill them with the prepared powder, cover with the original stems, wrap them in fresh Ophiopogon leaves, and tie them tightly with rush grass.Place 2 pig hearts in a pot along with the prepared star anise, steam until a faint aroma is released, then remove. Replace the leaves, rushes, and pig hearts, and repeat the process as before. Collect the dew on a moonlit night, then replace the leaves, rushes, and pig hearts again, repeating this procedure nine times in total. On the final day, remove the star anise, sun-dry the remaining mixture, and grind it into a fine powder. Mix the powder with pig heart blood and honey to form pills, then coat them with gold leaf.
